Happy new year everybody. I'm writing this sitting more...

I promised myself last week to write news on what's been going on every week without fail on Monday morning, but I couldn't do it yesterday and do you know why?

I was carted off to hospital in an ambulance because I slipped up and cracked my head on a wall in a London subway. I've never been in an ambulance before, it was quite scary I can tell you! I thought I was going to be sick and my legs turned to jelly. And for your information, as Darren asked me yesterday - no, they did not put on the 'woo woo' noise or drive at 100 miles an hour. Much to my disappointment!

So eventually I ended up at home in bed under doctor's orders and have just pulled myself out of my pit to write this blog to you. I feel worse for wear today, two black eyes and a neck that refuses to move. AGONY!

I hope my face returns to normal and the egg shaped lump on the top of my head goes down before the gig on Saturday, else I'll be donning a Winehouse do to cover up my injury! I'm not sure I'll be busting the moves as usual (you know me) on stage, maybe I'll leave that to the boys this week. Or, if any of you fancy volunteering your services as backing dancers, do let us know. I'm sure I'll manage a few wines by then, the concussion should have subsided by then! Ha ha ha.

Signing out from my hospital bed (almost)

Ellie x
