Happy new year everybody. I'm writing this sitting more...

Last Saturday Producer Phil invited us round to his listening booth / kitchen table to hear the final album in running order (in a pre-mastered state of play). Excited as we were, it soon wore off after negotiating the weekend London traffic and transport system. However once we finally arrived and with much anticipation and baited breathe we sat down to listen to the album in full for the first time ever.

Hearing all of our songs sounding almost very nearly finished was quite overwhelming! Listening to the last few years of your life crammed into 13 songs is an evocative and emotive experience, as the memories of where we were physically and emotionally at the time of writing each track came flooding back and it is hard to believe just how far we've really come, and amazingly we're all still in love with each other! Darren, also has this strange thing where he sees the songs as colours and was telling us all the shades of each of the songs. Some were yellow, others blue, a couple green. He's a strange boy is Darren. I think it's called synthaesia or something. An emotional afternoon was had by all, we are all really proud of each other and ourselves and we really can't wait to be able to share this with all of you.

Anyway, we've decided the album is to be called "Noises" for all manner of reasons. Firstly, because we like to make a racket, secondly due to Ellie's new relationship with the dreadful Tinnitus, and finally due to the noises we hope our album will create amongst you!

So now all the hard work has been done we still have lots more work to do in the name of promotion for the build up to our release. Watch this space.

Which leads us on to gigs... City Showcase is the next one for us on June 5th at The Metro Bar on Oxford Street which is hosted by XFM's John Kennedy. Read all about that in the News section, it's gonna be a goodun. Don't forget to keep your eye on the gig section too for updates in your area.

That's all for now, bring on the NOISES.
Us. x
