Happy new year everybody. I'm writing this sitting more...
Hi all - a quick run down of my week at Midem,
I've been at midem since saturday, the biggest music industry exhibition / festival in the world and spent the last five nights out drinking and eating in cannes, the south of France.... sounds lovely and it was. ..
The weather was around 18 degrees, on sunday night I had cocktails and wine on a 3 million pound yacht as the sun went down from behind the old town.... went to support the acts on at the british showcase night on the Tuesday, Richard Hawley was there along with reverend and the makers. Got involved with the independents day 08 launch - watch this space everyone! I have plenty of wristbands to give away next gig.
So I am now back in the uk and it's sunny this morning but very, very cold... it's nice to be back... I'm off to support a friend playing at the water rats in kings cross tonight and catching the england v wales rugby match tomorrow and back in the studio sunday.
No rest for me... my bag smells of French cheese... bye for now.
